1. Who we are

Réfrigération Leduc & Fils ("Leduc & Fils", "we", "our") is a division of Leduc & Fils, a Quebec family business operating as the official ATC distributor for Quebec since 1994. The website refrigerationleducetfils.ca is operated from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

We collect only what you actively provide:

  • Contact details: name, email, phone, company.
  • Fleet details: vehicle format, market served, target temperature range — to identify the compatible ATC unit.
  • Message content: your need as you describe it.
  • Browser cookies: see section 7.

We collect no sensitive information (health, opinions, biometric data).

  • Respond to your request and prepare a tailored ATC recommendation.
  • Prepare a quote and coordinate install, calibration, or maintenance.
  • Activate our 24/7 emergency line for in-transit breakdowns.
  • With your explicit consent: send product news and seasonal offers.

6. Third parties and processors

  • Formspree (US) — technical processing of form submissions.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (US) — anti-bot protection. No cookies set.
  • Vercel (US) — hosting and technical logging.

These cross-border transfers are necessary for the site to function. Each processor is contractually bound to provide protection equivalent to that required by Law 25.

We never sell your information to any third party.

7. Cookies

Three categories, individually manageable:

  • Essentials — required for the site to function (language preference, consent state). Always on.
  • Analytics — off by default. Anonymous visit counting.
  • Marketing — off by default. More relevant advertising if enabled.

We retain your contact details as long as the commercial relationship is active, plus seven (7) years after the last interaction (legal obligation for ATC warranty and commercial-installation traceability). Unconverted inquiries are retained for 12 months then deleted.

  • Request deletion (subject to legal obligations).
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications.
  • Request portability in a structured format.

Response time: 30 days maximum from the request.

11. Minors

Our services are aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from persons under 14.
